Today I'm adding two music videos into one review which would make it a Quick Reviews. The songs I'm going to be reviewing today are “Hot Potato” by N.Flying and “Don't Leave” by Block B. Now, N.Flying is a group that is really hard for me to get into. The first song I heard by them I didn't like, the second song was too poppy and silly. I don't have the highest of hopes for “Hot Potato” but I'll still check it out. Block B on the other hand, I'm very excited about.
N.Flying dreams about becoming something big in “Hot Potato” music video. The entire video was them in a garage and dreaming about one day breaking into the big market. I hate to compare, but it sounds like exactly what BTS is doing right now. They are awaiting the paperwork from one member. The song was poppy and the music video sort of matched the tone of the song. The song I liked a lot better than “The Real”. I don't know why I didn't like that song so much but this was definitely better. When I listen to a rock band, I typically want them to be more of a serious band which is why I don't like N.Flying that much maybe. I don't know.
“Don't Leave” by Block B is a video that focuses on either the passing of a girl or the departure of a girl. I like to think of it as a friend of all the members that had died because it gives the video more depth than if it were just a break up. There are a lot of cool visual effects in this video but one of my favorites was the image of the beach upside down over the beach. One image had the girl in it and the other she was absent. Overall the video was beautiful. It was seriously such a lovely video. And it still had some grit to it. Zico appeared in it with a slow rap that develops into a sing rap. The song was really calm and peaceful but powerful and beautiful and heartfelt at the same time. It wasn't the saddest sounding song but it had a lot of emotion to it. I like that. I like Block B.
I hope you enjoyed my reviews of N.Flying and Block B. I enjoy doing these reviews but sometimes, you feel like you're drowning and have to swallow more water than you can handle. That happens to me very often. Anyway, support these artists. They deserve your love. Like and share this review on social media. Leave a comment. Thank you for all your support for me. Thank you so much. I'll see you in my next review.
My Quick Reviews are conglomerates of music video reviews. For instance, if there are several releases in a single day that are all related or somewhat related, I will do a Quick Review segment.
