With so many comebacks happening in the last few days, I can't keep up so I decided to do 2 music videos in part of a Quick Reviews. The two music videos are for "Paradise" by S.E.S because I've already done 2 reviews for previous S.E.S songs. The other video is "Who's That Girl" by Meng Jia.
In the music video for "Paradise", the girls were trying to escape from their reality it seemed, into a "paradise" world. They were painting on the wall and behind the paint was a cloud-filled sky. The video was very colorful and bright. The song still had that old kpop vibe to it which is good. The drums and synths made it feel very retro while the video was bright and clean quality which made it feel very modern. It was an interesting mix of style and aesthetics.
The music video for "Who's That Girl" seemed to be about a girl that was confused and frustrated with how her life is moving at the moment. I'm not saying it is Jia for sure whose life this song is about but it seems to be about the frustration with being in a rut or a standstill. Jia looks phenomenal with silver hair and I have to say this is the best song so far in 2017. It is a slow power ballad that strikes you right in the heart. It makes you feel and empathize with the singer.
Thank you for following and supporting me. This has been a Quick Reviews for "Paradise" by S.E.S and "Who's That Girl" by Meng Jia. I hope you enjoyed it and don't forget to like, comment, and share this on social media. See ya in the next one.
My Quick Reviews are conglomerates of music video reviews. For instance, if there are several releases in a single day that are all related or somewhat related, I will do a Quick Review segment.
