I've been reviewing a lot of Jpop lately and I love it. If you have any non Kpop review requests, please let me know. I promise I will get to them all. But that being said, I had a person request a bunch of songs last night. This song “Thank You for Your Love” by a Thai artist named Thank You was her first request. This review is a shout out to Blu Hargreaves for spamming me with so many videos to check out. I'm definitely excited to start reviewing more videos than just Kpop. I love Kpop but I love music more.
The video takes place in a high school that is suffering from bullying, body shaming and your typical “popular” girls just being straight up rude. Thank You is a girl at this school and after her friends get ridiculed for their body types, she stands up for them to the popular girls. After much random school dancing, the girls decide to put up a contest to see who's more popular between them and Thank You. The bratty girls are winning until Thank You and her friends start dancing at the front of the gym. It's all tied up but Thank You wins due to a cute boy voting for her in the last second of the contest. I really liked the concept of having a girl that is really attractive standing up for people who aren't confident in their body type. It's a beautiful concept and I'm glad she did it.
Thank You is extremely cute and I don't even know if I'm allowed to say that. She looks really young. Anyway, her song is super cute and her voice is a reflection of her cuteness. The song itself is really poppy and almost too sweet. Personally I didn't like the verse and how it played out but for some reason that chorus is stuck in my head. I especially liked the way she says “click”. Her accent is perfect. Towards the end of the song, we get a dance break which looks like “We Are Bulletproof Pt. 3”. They are flipping hats and doing sleight of hand with those hats as well.
Well Blu and all my readers, I hope you enjoyed this review. I try my best to get every detail. If I miss something, I'm sorry. I'm watching these for the first time when I review them and usually don't go back to listen to them until after these reviews are posted. So please forgive me. If you haven't listened to Thank You, you definitely should. I realize she's not everyone's cup of tea but at least give her a try. She's talented and really cute as I've mentioned several times already. Like and share this review. Leave a comment. If you have any non Kpop songs you'd like me to review, please let me know. I will definitely get to them all. Thank you for your support. Thank you for taking time out to read these reviews. I'll see you in my next review.
Like I've mentioned before, music has no language barriers, it knows no language. I want to dedicate this section of my website to reviewing in any way, shape or form other languages of music. This includes Jpop, Mandopop, OPM, Vpop, Latin music, Russian, German, American, Venezuelan, you name it. If you think it's worth giving a listen, I'll listen to it and give you a review.
