There is a subtle emotion that swells throughout the song. From the palm muted guitars at the introduction to the pause right before the chorus kicks in, this song is screaming emotions at you but it is doing it as stealthily as possible. Because before you know it, the song is at its peak and you are nearly to tears while staring at the screen, watching these boys' lives unfold. Like I had mentioned earlier, I love the lead guitarist's vocals. He has a such a unique sounding voice that tugs at your heartstrings almost the second he starts singing. I will say it is more calm than “Sorry” but it doesn't mean the emotion isn't there because it definitely is. I love Day6 but after only 2 songs, I think The Rose is my favorite band in K-pop.
The Rose is an underrated band that deserves much more love and attention. I don't do these reviews for my own popularity. For me to get popular is a perk, but I want to share my opinions about music and the K-pop genre. With that being said, The Rose is a lesser known group that I'm hoping will one day shine well above where they currently reside. Please support The Rose and share this review to get the word out about this wonderful band. Like my review as well. Leave any comments in the designated section below.
What are your thoughts about The Rose so far? Did you enjoy this song? Will you continue to give your support to The Rose in the future for later releases? Thank you for supporting me and giving your feedback. I'll see you in my next review.
