I’ve been so bad at following up with Stray Kids. They just recently debuted and I’m just now checking out the music video. I need some sort of punishment for this sort of behavior. Anyway, Stray Kids officially debuted with “District 9” and from what I’m seen on social media, the rap is the highlight of the song. Well, duh Matt, of course it’s the highlight. Stray Kids is a rap group. Anyway, I’m ready for this.
Basically the music video was Stray Kids as a group breaking from a sort of imprisonment. They come to realize that the world they know is limited and set up by some sort of agency. Eventually, they break from the place and find refuge, I’m assuming, outside of the institution.
I don’t know if I can find the words to describe how amazing that song was. It wasn’t at all the instrumentals, but their rapping and singing ability. There were some interesting rap flows towards the end of the song that blew me away. The hook of the song was really good. It definitely had an EDM vibe to it, but my favorite parts were when the rap went off.
What did you think of Stray Kids’ debut? Let me know in the comment section. Thank you so much for your support. Don’t forget to support Stray Kids. They are an amazing group and definitely deserve the love. Thank you again and I’ll see you in my next review.
