Today I will be reviewing a new collab song called “Rain” by Soyou of Sistar and Baekhyun of Exo. I think this collaboration is a bit random but hey I like Sistar and I like Exo, so you put two of those things together, I'm all set.
“Rain” was a story about a girl who seemed sad and alone. She drew pictures to try to make herself happy, but those didn't work. The rain was always looming and it made her depressed. However, because of an inspiration or word of encouragement, symbolized by the blow-up man, she was able to find her happiness in the rain. Her loneliness turned into her dancing and playing ball by herself. In the end, she drew the picture that was in her notebook on the chalkboard in her classroom. I think that's what the story is behind this music video.
The song was a ballad that suited both voices very well. I've always thought that Sistar in general had really high and airy voices which gave them a sexiness and maturer sound. Exo has always been a really big name in K-pop as well. So naturally those two should go together. Soyou's airy voice with Baekhyun's soothing but powerful voice make for a great combination.
Baehyun and Soyou are a perfect combination of voices and I really loved that song. I hope you guys enjoyed my review of “Rain” by these two wonderful voices. Please give me a like and share this on social media. Comment any suggestions you have for future videos for me to review. Thank you for your support and I'll see ya in the next one.
