I haven’t done a stand alone review for SF9, but I decided this time to do it even though I’m drowning in reviews I need to do. SF9 released “Mamma Mia” music video and honestly when I hear Mamma Mia I either think of Kara or ABBA. Let’s do this!
I think the concept SF9 was going for in the music video was just living in a 70s town called Mamma Mia. They definitely stole ideas from Footloose and used another musical name for the town. In fact, there were a bunch of musical theater references. The overall theme of it was they were stuck in a town that almost everything referred to a musical.
As for the song, the dynamics of the song didn’t move much. The volume and hype level stayed pretty flat most of the song. The chorus was really catchy and I really loved the song. Is this going to convince me to Stan SF9? Probably not, but it was still fun listening to the song.
What did you think? Did you love this song? What musical theater references did you find in the music video? Like and share this review on social media. Support SF9 and please continue to support me. Thank you so much for your love and especially recently on Facebook. The amount of love I’ve been receiving on Facebook lately has been incredible. Thank you and I’ll see you in my next review.
In this section of my website, I will review Kpop music videos, albums, songs, and various other things pertaining to Kpop. This will be the main stage of my website. It is where the majority of the action will take place.
