Ravi of Vixx is made his official debut with “Bomb” and the music video is already receiving a ton of criticism for being “offensive” or something like that. I don't really follow Vixx. I know that Ravi released a song last year called “DamnRa” and it made a huge wave in the k-pop scene for being impressive and very aggressive.
The music video was impressive. It had a lot of fire and tattoos and more fire. I watched the edited out clip and honestly there was nothing wrong with it. I mean Stellar gets away with pretty much outright talking about vaginas in a song and Jay Park can get booty shots in a music video but Ravi can't have girls dressed skimpily in his music video? People need to get over themselves. Artists have had videos like this for decades. But besides that, I really enjoyed the video especially the part where he was an orchestra conductor.
The song was definitely not k-pop. I don't know if that's the category it was listed under but it was 100% k-hip hop. This song was so dope. It definitely had a “DamnRa” feeling to it but it was different and in my opinion, a lot harder. Ravi's voice is so unique and I think this is a style suited for him.
I hope you enjoyed my review of “Bomb” by Ravi. Please leave a comment below of what you think about this controversy with the “Bomb” music video. Also give me a like and share this among your friends and social media. Thank you guys for the support and I'll see ya in the next one.
