NCT Dream released a song called “Chewing Gum” and by the looks of it, it's going to be super cutesy. Just based alone off the thumbnail which is brightly colored with a member and gum. I don't know where NCT Dream is supposed to be targeting because that's the idea behind NCT right? Is to target different locations? Maybe I'm wrong, let's just get into it What did I just watch? This music video seems to be about kids at a boarding school so obsessed with chewing gum that it gets them in trouble. I don't necessarily get the video but the dance was really cool. It seems a bit odd to make a music video about gum. But SM does what they want. The song wasn't my favorite. The cutesy style overlaying a backdrop sound that was a bit more aggressive and deeper sounding was an odd choice, but I know people are going to eat it up. Like I said, the backing track was really deep and aggressive which sounded cool, but their cute attitude and singing style didn't really fit the genre the track was going for. There was definitely a huge contrast between the singing and the track itself. Overall, not a huge fan. That is my review of “Chewing Gum” by NCT Dream. I hope you enjoyed it and I'm sorry if I offended any of you by my comments, this is merely my personal opinion. Please like, comment, and share this post and thank you again for the support. I really appreciate it.
