Melody Day made their comeback and I didn't even know it. I was looking on Wikipedia and other web sources to see what comebacks are coming up and I saw this music video pop up in the list. “You Seem Busy” is a collaboration with BTOB's Il Hoon, who is becoming one of my favorite rappers. I think the last music video we saw from Melody Day was “Color” which in my personal opinion wasn't the most catchy song or best comeback. Well I'm hoping for some changes today. I'm sure I'll like it especially with Il Hoon in the song.
That music video kind of made me depressed but it was kind of a bittersweet emotion. The entire music video is through the eyes of a kid that is working at a restaurant on New Years Eve/Day. He sees all the families and couples together. He even runs into an old friend but is shooed away by her date. In the end of the video, the kid is seen standing at the back of the room, alone. The atmosphere of the video was really enchanting which kind of makes it seem like not a terribly sad music video.
As for the song, it's not a terrible song. It kind of sounds like your generic winter ballad. It's essentially a synthesizer and drums with some sound effects added in. Overall it wasn't a terrible song. Il Hoon's rap was really slow which was weird because he's a fast rapper. I guess what I'm trying to say is it was a good song but I'm not super impressed.
I hope you enjoyed my review of “You Seem Busy” by Melody Day. I know it wasn't the greatest review but it's late. Please comment your thoughts in the comment section. Give me a like and share this post on social media. Thanks for all the support you guys give me and I'll see ya in the next one.
