As for the song, there were a few unique qualities present in this song. For one, the bass lines in the build up were amazing, but speaking of build up, the pre-chorus in this song actually lacked a build up. I mean, I knew where it was going because of the chords used but the actually building up of sound wasn't there which was different. Another fun thing is the fact that throughout the entirety of this song, the music and beat and rhythm are all funky and upbeat; fast paced. In the second half of the chorus, they slow things down to half time which is awesome because musical techniques. The half time is really subtle so you might not have caught it the first listen through.
Overall I enjoyed the song, not quite as much as “Hwi Hwi” but it was still memorable. The half time thing reminds me of Sistar's “I Like That” and a song by Sonamoo whose title I cannot remember for the life of me right now.
