K.A.R.D is back with their first comeback! After their well received success and their debut track “Oh NaNa”, they are back to steal the scene with their newest track “Don't Recall”. K.A.R.D isn't the first but definitely one of the most successful co-ed groups in this generation of K-pop. Let's find out if this track will be as hyped as their previous song!
I'm going to skip over the music video part because it was just them dancing with different color backgrounds with playing card symbolism. The song however was excellent. I might like this song more than “Oh NaNa” but it's hard to say quite yet. I have to say that K.A.R.D is a unique and highly talented group. They not only have talent from both sides making them appealing to both male and female, they also are very talented singers and dancers. The only thing about this song I didn't like is the overuse of auto-tune. I love auto-tune sparingly. If it is overused like this, it kills me and I almost always end up hating the song. However with this song, they used it too much but it blended with the style of music they were pushing, so I can accept this as a good song. Another gripe I had about this song is the way they say “recall”. I know they can say it and I know there are plenty of English speakers within the K-pop community and within DSP Media. I don't know why they just let it slide with “recar” instead. And it's not just once, it's every single time.
