Jun.K is from JYP Entertainment. That much I know for sure. However, the thing I don't know about him is anything else. He is from the boy group 2PM, I believe. I'm not clear whether this is a debut or a comeback, but either way, it's new music; something to hype for. His new song “No Shadow” was released earlier today and I will be reviewing it.
Aside from all the seizure inducing light flashes throughout the music video, it was pretty awesome. The concept seemed to be a dream sequence mix with a drug-like trance. The video was beautifully shot taking from the dark and the light throughout really well. It should definitely be a dream sequence concept because at the beginning of the video he fell asleep. Many artists have done similarly much like “I Just Wanna Dance” by Tiffany.
As for the song, it reminded me of Jay Park R&B which makes perfect sense since Jay Park used to be in 2PM. The influences of this song were definitely R&B, Trap and Hip Hop. I'm not too familiar with 2PM, its members or any of their music, however this song was very good and definitely gave me a Jay Park vibe.
I hope I wasn't too boring with my descriptions and analysis of the song and music video. It was really good. I'll probably download it after uploading this review. Thanks again for reading. Don't forget to comment your thoughts about the song and music video below. Also give me a like and share this among your friends or on social media if you can. I'll see ya in the next one.
