I accidentally listened to this song yesterday. I didn't think it was going to get a music video because it was already available for download on K2NBlog. So I listened to it, but to be honest I was involved in another project so I didn't really listen to it. I only heard it once. So I'm going to do a review of “I Don't Wanna Love You” by June One Kim and Krystal of f(x). I love Krystal. She is my bias, so I'm excited to see her on screen.
I'm not going to lie, that video was creepy as hell. The first two minutes of the video were completely silent and then the black and white with the doubled effects and various other effects made for a really creepy video. Not to mention the video seemed to be about abusive relationships, so when the lights went out in the house, I almost lost my shit. Like I said, I think the video is about abusive relationships. Krystal looked amazing though as always.
I absolutely love this song. The style of vintage recording being played over a trap beat is genius. I think this style absolutely fits Krystal's voice too. People say Krystal isn't a good singer, but in the right atmosphere, she would be incredible. I would buy the shit out of an album with this style of music on the entire thing. The old vintage style recording that was done for this track added to the creepiness of the video as well. Having Krystal's voice have some of that detune effect is really amazing. Her innocent sounding voice suits the style as well because of the way females used to sing. I love this song and style. The video was pretty awesome as well.
Well, I hope you enjoyed my review of “I Don't Wanna Love You” by June One Kim and Krystal. Please like this post and share it on social media. Comment your thoughts and any videos you'd like me to review in the future. Thank you all for your love and support and I'll see ya in the next one.
