As for the song, it also had an old sound to it. The entire song used a guitar and her voice which is a beautiful, raw expression of sound by IU. The slow finger picked style of the guitar playing was reminiscent of classic music and almost sounded traditional in presence. IU has a uniquely rough, but gentle voice that penetrates the track and takes shelter in the listeners' head. This is one of the things I love most about IU. She is soft and gentle, but powerful in more ways than people tend to think. She is overlooked because she's not a powerhouse vocalist, but she definitely deserves much more attention. Plus, I mean, she's cute.
