Imfact is a group that I have no idea about. I don't know who they are under. I don't know how many members are in their group. I only know that it's a boy group, I think. They made their comeback with a song called “Feel So Good” and I'm about to review it.
In the music video, the group was trying to steal a tape. This must mean that something is coming that has to do with that tape. Most of the music video was them running around in what looked like an abandoned factory. The video was good, but I don't like that shaky camera work. I know it adds an effect to the production but personally I don't like when the camera intentionally shakes around like that. Other than that the video seemed pretty good quality.
I enjoyed the song. Here are my gripes with it. I'm a fan of trap music. I really am, but I don't like the fact that k-pop is headed in that direction. Trap music is something I listen to when I'm feeling especially crunk. Other than that, I don't listen to it. The fact that this song is almost entirely based around that style bugs me. There are different levels of trap that you can do and they tried to go hard in this song. I say try because I don't feel like they achieved it very well. The verses and chorus were this dirty trap beat but then the build ups and pre choruses were super melodic poppy music. The contrast was too high for me. If you're going to go trap, do trap. Don't mesh it with boy band pop. It doesn't work.
Well, this has been my first exposure to Imfact. I'm not saying I'm writing them off yet, but I'll be more cautious with my next listen. Please like this review and comment on it and share it all over the social medias. Thanks for your support and I'm out for tonight. Unless another comeback comes out tonight.
In this section of my website, I will review Kpop music videos, albums, songs, and various other things pertaining to Kpop. This will be the main stage of my website. It is where the majority of the action will take place.
