Got7 is back with the repackaged version of their album Flight Log: Departure and with that comes new music, which is always a good thing especially with Got7. Got7 is a group I've always liked and thought were talented but only recently did I get hardcore into them. Now I'm stuck, but I ain't struggling. My bias currently is JB but my bias wrecker is either Jackson or Yugyeom
Oh my hell! That was so lit! The music video seemed to be the wreckage of a plane crash, which would make sense since the album is called Turbulence. It was dark but light and had a lot of symbolism that I probably missed, such as water tank and the pine trees. The dance was impressive too although I have seen better, but that was executed very well.
The song reminded me of “Trespass” by Monsta X and “Fire” by BTS, but in my opinion, this song was better than both. The energy was higher and stayed there pretty much the entire song. Not to mention the drop was a bit uneasy. This is a good thing because drops are becoming really predictable. The drop in this song only happened a couple of times to prevent from being too repetitive and it delayed the actual drop by about one beat to throw off the listener. I loved it.
Thanks for reading through my boring review about a song that was absolute fire. Look forward to the next comeback/debut from k-pop artists and will hopefully do an album review for Turbulence. Thanks.
