Holy shit! Today's the day! I've waited all day long and I'm finally able to watch the Girls' Generation comeback videos “Holiday” and “All Night” which apparently “All Night” is a documentary version. Either way I'm super stoked because I've heard nothing but great things about these two releases!
“Holiday” was a really upbeat song that had a hard, driving beat. It was definitely more of a party song and I can already see myself attempting to dance along with the girls. I think the music video was showing different aspects of fame. It showed the process of moving up in the world of entertainment. I loved the song because it was so upbeat and had more of a classic Girls' Generation sound while still remaining fresh.
The music video for “All Night” was like it said, more of a documentary. However, there were scenes of the girls dancing, singing, and enjoying themselves in fancy dresses. During the chorus, each girl was interviewed and answered certain questions. I just wish I knew what they were. The track had a funky, 80s influenced dance style with a unique breakdown that utilized several digital sounds and awkward pauses. I really love this song and of course, in both these videos, the girls all looked amazing.
I hope you enjoyed my review of “Holiday” and “All Night, I mean the girls are finally back! They've made it to 10 years. Let's celebrate their success as one of the biggest girl groups in the world! Please continue to support these girls even if they break up tomorrow or continue on for another 10 years. Let us always be in support of our girls forever, even Jessica with her solo career. Thank you for supporting me as well even though my contributions into K-pop are very limited. Like and share this review and leave a comment below. Thank you and I'll see you in the next one.
