DIA is back with their double title track music videos. The first one is called “Mr. Potter” and the second one is called “The Love”.
“Mr. Potter” music video was a bit weird. I was freaked out at first because the girls in the group were playing with a Ouija board which is bad. But the music video just got weirder after that, especially with the rabbit hanging around them. There were some elements of the world of Harry Potter but not enough for me to be convinced that the music video had to have this type of concept.
The song for me was a mix between AOA Cream, Nine Muses, and Oh My Girl. It had the cute feeling behind it but also that little bit of an edgy side. The song actually reminded me of “Hurt Locker” by Nine Muses and “I'm Jelly Baby” by AOA Cream. Overall it had a good energy to it but I probably won't go out of my way to listen to it again.
“The Love” was a much better music video and I'm not sure if this was the promoted title song but if it wasn't, it should have been. It is such a good song dedicated to fans, not just their fans, but fans all over the world for any k-pop group. That's the vibe I got from it at least. The music video was a bunch of male fans standing on the opposite side of a sheet of glass from DIA. The glass had fan notes and different writings on it. The girls sang the song and towards the end of the song, the glass rose out of its place and the fans and the group were no longer separated. It is a lovely song about the love the groups within k-pop have for their fans and how their fans make everything possible for these groups.
In this section of my website, I will review Kpop music videos, albums, songs, and various other things pertaining to Kpop. This will be the main stage of my website. It is where the majority of the action will take place.
