“All Alone” is the new music video and single from JYP's Day6. If we've been following the story thus far, there is a sort of love hexagon going on and everyone likes someone else. “All Alone” sounds like this is the result of their love hexagon going bad. I'm going to make the assumption that the song will be a sad, slower song. Day6 is really good at those type of songs, so I'm perfectly fine with another slow ballad.
In the music video for “All Alone”, the members were all alone together, singing a delightful acoustic tune outdoors. Throughout the video, a montage played the scenes of past comebacks recapping us on what has happened so far. It's like I said, basically everyone likes everyone else. It was nice to see those scenes with this song playing over them though.
The delightful tune is an acoustic ballad that literally has each member playing some acoustic instrument. Jae was playing the guitar while all the other members played various percussion instruments. This song wasn't so focused on the instrumentation or the story, but it was more focused on Day6 as singers. Each member has a phenomenal voice and can prove it. Their voices blended together so well, but the voice that stood out to me and usually stands out to me is Wonpil's voice. He hit some notes that were almost too hard for me to comprehend. Overall their vocal harmonization was on point and very well executed.
