You all knew that this was coming. While I'm not a huge fan of Crush, I'm the biggest fan of Taeyeon and I can't believe I've waited this long to watch the music video. I've just been really busy lately. No excuses, I know. No time for excuses when k-pop is involved. Anyway, I don't know a lot about Crush. I know he did a song with Zion T last year and that's about it. I'm excited to hear this song though because the last song that Taeyeon did was with Verbal Jint and that song was amazing and the song before that she did with.....Verbal Jint also. And that song was her solo debut, so I'm excited to hear more and more Taeyeon solo and collab work.
The music video was really chill and kind of depressing. Crush seemed really sad and I think I know why. It's because he didn't feature Taeyeon in the video. He was definitely regretting not having her on set for the video. All jokes aside, the song was really relaxed and chill. We didn't get to hear any beltings from Taeyeon, but she sang in her more comfortable zone of mid-tones. I was hoping to hear more from her, but at least she was in the song. Crush also has a pretty amazing voice. He was hitting some high notes that I know a lot of people could not hit. I'll give him props for that. Overall though, the music video was kind of meh and the song was fantastic.
I really did enjoy the song, even if it seemed all my focuses were on Taeyeon. You have to give me a break. I'm a Taeganger. The song was very calming and just overall soothing. And I enjoyed that fact. What did you like best about this song?
Thanks for the support.
