Crayon Pop is a five member girl group under Chrome Entertainment that tends to mimic the style of “kawaii Japanese pop”. They’ve released several hit songs including “Bar Bar Bar”, “FM”, and “Uh-ee”. They have a sub unit called “Strawberry Milk” consisting of twins Choa and Way. Every one of these girls’ music videos is fun, vibrant, and just entertaining to watch. They have just released a music video for a new song called “Dancing All Night”. I can expect to see the same cute style they’ve done in the past in this video.
The freeze frame of the start of the video is what looks like the outside of a school or something. There’s a building on the left and some landscape on the right with a couple of pillars. Let’s find out what this video is all about.
Okay, so I’ve watched the video now and it’s pretty much what I expected. Although, the video was shot in one shot. Which is impressive. Another video that has done that style recently has been Ailee’s Insane, however, there were obvious breaks in that one. This video was actually shot outside of a mall and they just moved around the mall and danced. The song had a more electric feel than a lot of their other songs. This song had an 8-bit Nintendo feel to it that kind of gets one all nostalgic. The girls wore blue strap dresses with striped shirts underneath to give them a youthful appearance.
Overall, I liked this video like I do with most Crayon Pop songs and videos. However, this video wasn’t super special like maybe “FM” or “Bar Bar Bar” were, but I still liked it nonetheless. What did you think of this video, if you have seen it and if you haven’t, there’s now a link below. Have a good day you guys.
