CL - Hello Bitches: music video review

Lee Chaerin, better known as CL, is the leader and leader rapper of super group 2NE1 under YG Entertainment.  She is known for her fierce attitude, insane rapping skills, and for being the “baddest female”.  CL has taken part in several solo/collab songs in the past couple of years as a way to prepare for her solo debut.  Some of these songs include “The Baddest Female”, “Dirty Vibe” featuring her and G-Dragon on a track with Diplo and Skrillex, “Revolution” a performance with Diplo, and “Doctor Pepper” a track produced by Diplo featuring Riff Raff and OC Maco.  Her fans are called Gizibes.
Today a dance performance of her new solo American debut came out called “Hello Bitches” originally titled “Asian Bitches”.  I kind of have an idea of what I think this will sound like and I’m hoping it’s nothing like I expect.  I don’t want CL to turn into Asia’s Nicki Minaj.  Well I guess I’m on my journey to find out what kind of song this is going to be.  (*Deep inside still wishing that YG had 2NE1 comeback instead.)

I’ve watched the video now and it turns out that that was just a dance video but it was actually pretty dope.  I’m not going to lie here, this song was bumping.  It was a hell of a lot better than Doctor Pepper.  The song had an Indian vibe to it but had that bumping beat keeping it going.  The video wasn’t anything super special.  It was basically CL and a bunch of her “bitches” shaking their asses and twerking a bunch.  Like I said, nothing special.  CL rapped a bunch on this song and she actually sang too which is something I really like to hear.  I love her as a rapper but I think she excels at vocals.

Anyway, this is my review of CL’s “Hello Bitches” music video.  I enjoyed it, will I watch the video ever again?  Probably not, but I did enjoy the song and that’s all that really matters in the end.  What did you
