Okay, so the thumbnail is them in a car with the typical front shot from the front of the car. I accidently pressed play before I was ready and the paused screen shows a girl up close, walking away and another girl, farther away, also walking away from the camera.
Okay, so I’ve watched the video now and I have to say this is some of the weirdest stuff I’ve ever seen. At the beginning, the group is plugged into an apple and listening to something. There’s two things I could see this representing. It could either be a representation of Apple, the company, or it could be a throwback to Ga-in’s solo album “Hawwah” and the song “Apple”. Either way, this song isn’t very catchy. It’s sort of a mix between 80s, trance music, and blues. They were really trying to push the envelope here and they did that, but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out very well. I like the artistic creativity of the music video, but I just can’t decipher any sort of hidden messages in it. Aside from the apple, there’s nothing unique about this music video. It is basically just a dance video with special filters and effects over it and filmed in different locations. The beginning of the music video is literally just a copy of “Red Light” by f(x) with them dancing in a room with lights from a projector shining on them. I’m rather disappointed with this song, but I’m not a big fan of B.E.G. so I didn’t expect much anyway, but I tried to go into this with an open mind.
That is my music video review for the Brown Eyed Girls’ music video for “Brave New World”. I wasn’t a huge fan of it, but what did you guys think of it?
