Berry Good is back with their song “Don't Believe” and honestly, this is my third/fourth music video review I've done today. I'm a little burnt out so if I don't write much that is why. The last song I heard from Berry Good was “Angel” which was a phenomenal song that was similar in style to Lovelyz with that hard hitting electronic sound backing a cutesy concept. I'm excited for this so let's get into it.
I'm not sure I understand the music video for “Don't Believe” by Berry Good. There were a lot of strange symbolisms that I can't go into right now. However, it may just be me and the amount of times I've watched Blackpink today, but one of the girls looked like Jisoo. The girl who had the balloon looked strangely like Jisoo from Blackpink. Maybe it's just my imagination and lack of sleep but she definitely looked similar.
The song was catchy and was a little more low-key than “Angel” but still had that electronic driving beat. The song and video weren't cutesy like “Angel” but it was more intense. The dance looked difficult but for me everything that requires movement looks difficult. It seemed like they were stressing more of the vocals and not as much of the beat and driving force behind the song.
