The music video seems to have several symbolic themes that I completely had no clue what they were referring to. The music video was really well shot however. There was a man with sand coming out of his shoes. A goldfish in a bowl, that later gets smashed. Snow falling. A clock in the background. A red flower. I'm not sure what to make of these things. I think it has to do with life moving forward and there is no way to slow it down. Hence, the clock in the background, the goldfish being smashed from its bowl, the flower being laid onto the sand. Also, the sand in the man's shoes I think represent sand as being the one thing that is timeless. The man walking away in it represents all of us moving forward but being made of sand, we will one day return to the sand. The snow would seem to represent the coldness of life. I think that's what the message is because the song is called “There's No Cure” which infers that life moves on and there's nothing we can do to stop it or slow it down.
So I know that this review was a bit late, but forgive me. I really enjoyed this song and I much more enjoyed tearing it apart piece by piece. It's a beautiful song with beautiful meaning. I'll have to read the lyrics later to find out what the song was really talking about. However, it was a great song and everyone should at least listen to it once. Thanks for reading. Thanks for the support.
