AOA! AOA released their music video for “Good Luck” days ago. I'm sorry I'm so behind on these, I've been out of town and need to catch up, so no better place to pick up then AOA! I'm excited to see Jimin and Choa and Seolhyun and all the other girls become lifeguards! Jimin is still my bias in AOA but Seolhyun is so sexy and Choa is too cute, so you never know.
I liked the music video but I don't see how this is a lifeguard concept. They weren't in lifeguard attire for very long in the music video. There were more shots of them in those black outfits. However, I enjoyed the music video. It kind of reminded me of SNSD's “Party” music video. There were a bunch of beach scenes and then they ended up at a party somewhere. Choa caught my attention the most in the video. Her hair was perfect. That dirty looking blonde color that almost looks wet. Her hair is perfection! I didn't even notice the other girls once Choa came onto the scene.
The song was quite catchy. It had underlying elements of previous AOA songs while still being new and fresh. I like that. For a lot of the video I was wondering when Jimin would be featured but then all of a sudden, there she was. Her rap was good, but I don't know how I feel about the transition into her rap part. It seemed forced and unnatural. I love Jimin's raps as much as the next guy, but that section seemed awkward. Overall though, I loved the song and can't wait to listen to the rest of the album.
