I'm back for another music video review with Amber's new song “On My Own”. A little while back, Amber teased us with a clip of her telling us not to give up on dreams. I think this was her album teaser. If so, her new album is going to be called Crossing. Amber is one of my favorite members of the four-member group f(x). She has so much personality and fire in her heart and passion in her soul. Every song she has put out as a solo artist has been phenomenal, so I expect nothing less than amazing with this song.
The music video was nice. It showed Amber coming off from the stage and her interaction with the studio and stage people. It showed her playing with a dog and then her running outside. The running scene reminded me of her music video for “Beautiful”. The video was all in black and white. I think this mood style is fitting for Amber, not because she's old fashioned or depressed but because she looks awesome with a black and white filter. Even in this video, she looked like she was in control.
The song was so good. It had a calm, barren sound to it. There wasn't a whole lot going on in the mix of the song, but that's perfectly fine because it allows for more space for her voice to occupy. I don't know who Gen Neo is but he must have been the one producing the song because this song was all Amber. It's also really nice to hear Amber singing a lot more. She's been making her way and she's sounding as amazing as ever.
That's my review of “On My Own” by Amber. I loved the song and video. I hope you enjoyed my review. Please like, comment, and share my blog wherever you can. Also, don't forget to follow me on social media.
