Ailee, the queen of k-pop vocals, is back with her comeback song “If You”. Now I'm not sure whether this is a full comeback or just a single. She released a single comeback a while ago for a k-drama. However, I'm super excited for this because I love Ailee, I love her voice and she has a powerful voice without overdoing it.
The music video was about a girl who was trying to reverse time in order to reunite with a loved one that, as it appeared, had passed away. It didn't look like they had fought because she only needed to reverse time by half an hour. It was interesting because her memories of the guy were all in bright color but as soon as she realized it was only a memory, the color faded and became a dull washed out image.
The song was really jazzy and bluesy. But it was a lot more laid back than some of her recent stuff. By that I mean, that Vivid was more upbeat than any of her music has been. But at the same time there were some calmer songs. But overall, this song was really relaxing and seemed to fit well with the music video.
That was my review of “If You” by Ailee. If you liked this review, comment below as well as like this post and share it everywhere. Thank you all for your support.
