I really liked this drama especially since The Classic is one of my favorite Korean films. I do feel like they copied pretty much the same idea and theme and everything about it. In fact, if I’m not mistaken there was a big lawsuit against the company that produced Love Rain. I liked it, but I kind of wish that the sorrow scenes would have been cut out because near the end of the show, about 75% of the episodes was them just crying. That’s not what I’m into k-dramas for. I like the emotion but seriously 45 minutes of crying? Another thing is I wish they would have just cut the drama a bit shorter. I’m all about dramas going on for a while especially when I love the characters, but this drama seemed to lose traction. Also, I wish the ending wasn’t so weird. I like that they got married but they seemed to be fighting in the “one year later” mark. It’s like there was this great romantic world and a year later everything changed, including Seo Joon’s mother. And I wish they would spend more time on the wedding scene. These dramas all build up to the idea of marriage and then cut it right at the marriage scene. I like how Playful Kiss did it because they had them actually get married and enjoy their honeymoon. Although there are things wrong with the ending of Playful Kiss I’m not going to get into. Even so, that was a much better ending than this one. Work on getting your crap together, drama companies.
Anyway, that’s my review of Love Rain. I enjoyed it quite a lot and I loved actually watching a drama that has Yoona in it. If any of you know SNSD is my bias group. Thanks for reading. What did you think of this drama? Did you like it? What’s your favorite dramas? Maybe I’ll watch one of them if you suggest some. Thanks again.
